Laser cut vinyl
Identity system including logotype, icons and signage for Rhode Island School of Design's store. The RISD store plays a number of roles in the students’ daily life: the art supply section carries all of the hardware an artists needs, the cafe and snack bar is a gathering area, the bookshelves are a place for inspiration and reflection, and there is even a special section for children. We designed a series of icons to reflect the different sides of the store, and implemented them in a wayfinding system throughout the retail environment. Laser cut vinyl adhesive lettering was used extensively for its durability and affordability.
